Blue Lotus Cafe | Waldecks, Stirling
If you’re in a similar situation to me (3 kids, 4 and under) then you’ll appreciate how exciting it is to find a good cafe with a play area. What’s even better is if that play area is fenced!
This is exactly what Waldecks in Stirling offers, amongst many other things.
Located just off Karrinyup Road, within Waldecks lies the Blue Lotus Cafe. Surrounded by lush plants, the cafe offers delicious coffee, homemade light lunches, and a great selection of cakes, and their babycino game is strong!
The playground is fenced and includes a range of ride-on toys, cubby houses, a slide, and a seesaw. It would likely suit children up to the age of 6, however, I saw older kids enjoying it just as much!
The cafe is airconditioned and also has an outdoor alfresco area. What’s great about this cafe is that the playground is easily visible and accessible from both the inside and the outside area, so you can always see you’re children wherever you decide to sit. There are also a few benches within the play area, so if your little one doesn’t like being left, you can still enjoy your coffee sitting down.
My kids love to sit outside because they also have a pond that is home to many Koi fish who seem to follow you.
This cafe is one where you’ll actually be able to sit down and enjoy a coffee because the kids will be so entertained! You can even treat yourself to a new house plant on the way out ;).
