The competition will see a total of 107 daring drivers and co-drivers setting the streets on fire, racing against time to finish fastest and conquer the coveted podium. Not just the competitors, but the rally cars themselves will promise a sight to behold.

From the heavy 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint, a local treasure owned by Leschenault local Wayne Turner, to shiny modern machines like a Dodge Viper, BMW, Nissan GTR, Mitsubishi Evos, and even a Tesla EV, get ready to admire them all at the Show ‘n’ Shine event on Saturday, 18th November from 6.00pm to 8.30pm at the Pat Usher Foreshore.

Rapturous Atmosphere

Witness the thrilling fast sections where competitors will go flat out, juxtaposed with technical sections that will challenge their speed traversal skills.

“The crowd was great and a lot of people came to have a chat about the car and the first thing they asked was ‘what’s is this thing?’ which is quite funny but they all loved the little rocket,” recalls Matt Cherry, last year’s surprise winner with his highly modified red 1982 Toyota Starlet.

Local competitor Mark Cates, an unmistakable fan of the event, is all set to race in his two classic cars: a 1976 Holden Torana and a 1969 Ford Mustang. Needless to say, his enthusiasm is truly infectious!
