Spring school holidays are tough to plan for. The sun makes an appearance occasionally but is quickly overshadowed by the clouds. So, we have put together a list of both indoor and outdoor activities to keep the school kids entertained. We have also added our favourite lunch/dinner spots to bring together the whole family. After all, we deserve a little fun after getting through this winter!

Ride the waves of the pump track all afternoon – it’s the perfect place for the kids that love to scoot, skate or ride. A half basketball court and rock-climbing boulders will ensure the kids burn off all that energy. There is a small, padded play area for the little ones too, and only a 7min walk to Little Wolfe Café for mammas coffee.
A quirky, fun and interactive play space for all ages. Make sure to jump online and make a booking early, as they do book out. Timed sessions ensure less crowds, so that the kids can get the most out of all the cleverly designed areas. Soft play for little ones, and lots of interactive fun for school ages kids. Café on site too.
Take the dare devils to climb the Sky Walk, while the tots play in the cubbies. There is sand and water play, as well as in ground trampolines. Take the scooters to ride a small bike path and skate ramps.
If the sun decides to grace us, make sure to pack a change of clothes and head down to Smiths Lane. Call the sales office to double check the water pumps are on, if you are heading down purely for the water play. Regardless this huge play space has been beautifully designed with lots to explore.
If you are looking for an indoor play centre, but don’t like the crowds, then check out this one. Not overly huge, but its big enough to entertain the kids. Multi level play structure with a giant volcano slide at the centre, and a space themed gated soft play area for toddlers. A bonus for parents – there is a gym on site where you can work out while keeping an eye on the kids! Café also on site for those that just want a coffee.
Get in some STEM activities, even while on school holidays. A great science museum that combines learning with play. Interactive stations around every corner and sectioned off into three age groups.
An outdoor play space, shaded seating and great beers. The atmosphere is always buzzing, and you might even catch some live music.
Enjoy a drink from their extensive list of beverages, and some woodfire pizza while the kids watch a move in the play area. Lots of seats near the playroom, this is a great place for a large catch up.
Worth the drive, this place gives off major summer vibes. A large pool (no, you can’t jump in) is the feature of this relaxed, tropical holiday themed bar. The kids will enjoy the gated play area, as well as the empty container filled with old-school video games. Make sure to take some coins, as they will come begging. Great food and lots of beverages.
Another great brewery that’s got families in mind. A multilevel climbing structure with a slide in the back, as well as a shuffletable for the older kids and adults.
Happy exploring! We hope you Spring into the School Holidays!
